<p>PURPOSE: To easily remove dust sticking on a ball without deteriorating the slidability of the ball by fitting a brush so that it can come into contact with the entire peripheral edge of the ball. CONSTITUTION: On the bottom surface of a mouse main body, a ball stop member 3 which receives the ball is provided. This ball stop member 3 can be detached from the main body by being slid toward a triangular mark given to a display part where OPEN is displayed. The brush 4 for dust sticking prevention is fitted by implantation or adhesion over the entire circumferential surface of a cylindrical member 32 formed into a ring shape along the hole 31 of this ball stop member 3. Thus, the tip of the brush 4 is brought into contact with the entire peripheral edge of the ball and then dust sticking on the ball is removed by the brush 4. The brush part of this brush is 2-4mm long and preferably uses a material which is soft and elastic like horse hair and causes no friction.</p> |
