<p>PURPOSE: To provide the correspondence display method for display information among plural windows which eliminates the need to pay special attention by a user by generating visual correspondence of respective pieces of information displayed in the windows. CONSTITUTION: Windows 22 and 23 are opened on a screen and recognition result characters (information group) are displayed in the window 22. When a cursor 26 is moved to an arbitrary character position, coordinates on a document image including the segmentation coordinates of the character where the cursor is present is calculated and then document image data are displayed in the window 23. Then a one-character image window (subwindow) 24 is opened nearby the cursor 26 in the window 22 and image data of one character are displayed according to the segmentation coordinates of the recognition result. Further, a start point is set left above the subwindow 24, the left lower, left upper, right upper, and right lower points of the circumscribed rectangle of the character in the window 23 are connected together with lines from the segmentation coordinates, and a connection with the right upper point of the subwindow 24 is made lastly to draw an auxiliary line 25.</p> |
