<p>PURPOSE: To enhance the strength of a corrugated case for electric apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A transformer body is encased in a corrugated case 1 having corrugated plates 4 welded, at the upper and lower ends, to upper and lower frames 2, 3. A reinforcing member 7 is stretched between the upper and lower frames 2, 3 with the upper and lower ends 7a, 7b being projected to the outside through through holes made through cover plates 5, 3a. The reinforcing member 7 is welded to the upper and lower frames 2, 3 and further welded, at the upper and lower ends 7a, 7b, to the cover plate 5 and bottom plate 3a.</p> |
