<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an aggregate, etc., excellent in water absorptivity and strength at the time of forming and granulating a kneaded body obtained by adding water to incineration ash by mixing an inorg. assistant such as a clayey fine powder in the mixing and kneading. CONSTITUTION: An incineration ash 100 has several tenΜM grain diameter and is not deformed by hydration or kneading, and hence a void 102 is formed between the kneaded ashes 100. Accordingly, an inorg. assitant 101 such as clayey fine powder is added and kneaded to fill the void 102. Consequently, the intrusion of the material such as a bubble having a smaller size than the ash 100 is blocked, and the packing density of the kneaded body is increased. Namely, the material is passed through a specified liq.-phase sintering temp. range to form a tough liq.-phase sintered layer 10b on the surface layer part of the solid-phase sintered part 10a. The weight is lowered by the solid-phase sintered part 10a, the water absorptivity is decreased due to the sintered layer 10b, and a high-strength artificial aggregate is obtained.</p> |
