PURPOSE: To generate a musical sound at automatic playing, and besides, to drive the corresponding key synchronously with it. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 10 reproduces an automatic playing event from a RAM 12 and transmits a drive instruction to a keyboard driving circuit 2. A key touching detecting circuit 3 detects the motion of a keyboard 1, thereby generating a playing event. This playing event includes an invalid event corresponding to automatic playing event as well as a one corresponding to the keyboard playing by a player, and the CPU 10 instructs an electronic sound source circuit 7 to exoute the musical sound formation processing for the playing event other than the invalid event. The CPU 10 also preliminarily measures the reaction time from the drive instruction to the generation of the playing event. At automatic playing, the drive instruction is outputted to the keyboard driving circuit 2 prior to the instruction of the musical sound forming processing corresponding to the automatic playing event by the reaction time. |
