PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable satisfying input power factor and input current harmonic specification, by selecting the dead time until one out of a pair of switching elements turns on after the other is turned off, by using a dead time control circuit in a gate driving circuit. SOLUTION: A filtering capacitor C5 for a high frequency filter is connected between input terminals of a diode bridge full wave rectifier 10, and a capacitor C4 is connected between an output node (a) of the full wave rectifier 10 and a connection point (b) connecting switching elements Q1 , Q2 . A diode D5 is connected between the node (a) and the drain terminal of a switching element Q1 . The dead time until one out of the switching elements Q1 , Q2 turns on after the other is turned off is suitably selected by a driving circuit 20 containing a dead time control circuit. Thereby input power factor and input current harmonic specification can be satisfied all over the world. |
