PURPOSE: To make a display method multi-functional without decrease in yield and increase in cost, perform a display control with no effect on image display even if connection is damaged. CONSTITUTION: The display control device which sequentially selects a scanning line of a pixel matrix based on an address signal constituted with a plurality of bits, and image-displays based on image information for every selected scanning line is constituted with an address signal generating means 2 which generates a code corresponding to the position of the scanning line to be selected and changes logic state one by one at every scanning timing based on a synchronous signal supplied and generates the code as an address signal at every scanning timing, and an address signal decoding means 4 which decodes the address signal and selects the scanning line in the position corresponding to the decoded address signal.
