ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR ELEMENT AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE: To remove a factor of delamination of a polalizing electrode layer from an electrode foil by forming the polalizing electrode layer on one side face and by making the other side face an exposed face and mounting a tab terminal on its exposed face. CONSTITUTION: A polarising electrode layer 11a is formed on one side face of a positive electrode collector foil 11 and the outer side face is made an exposed face 11b. A tab terminal 15 is fixed to a prescribed part of this exposed face 11b. Further, similarly a polarizing electrode layer 12a is formed on one side face of a negative electrode collector foil 12 and the other side face is made an exposed face 12b. A tab terminal 16 is fixed to a prescribed part of this exposed face 12b. In these positive electrode collector foil 11 and negative pole collector foil 12, the respective polarizing electrode layers 11a, 12a are arranged opposedly sandwitching a first separator 13 for further being spirally wound up in a state where a second separator 14 is arranged on the side of the exposed face 12b of the negative electrode collector foil 12. Thereby, a manufacturing process is simplified.
