PURPOSE: To supply electric power to a load device for a long period of time by a second battery when removing a first battery by providing switching means for charging the second battery through a first charging circuit from an electric double layer capacitor when removing the first battery. CONSTITUTION: A switch 2-1 for switching the power supply from a main battery 1 to a main logic circuit of a load equipment and a switch 2-2 for connecting a charging circuit 5 to a series circuit of a main battery 1 and the switch 2-1 are provided. In addition, for charging to battery 6, a switch 2-3 for connecting an electric double layer capacitor 4 to a charging circuit 5 are provided. By doing this, switches 2-1 and 2-2 are opened and the switch 2-3 are closed when the main battery 1 is removed. So that a backup battery 6 can be charged from the electric double layer capacitor 4. Power can be supplied for a longer time to part of a circuit of the load equipment, memory circuit and the like when there is no electric double layer capacitor 4. |
