摘要 PURPOSE: To make possible the projection of an excellent color image by providing reflection surfaces on respective pixel electrodes according to respective pixels of R, G, B and deciding the slope angle of the reflection surface so that the reflection surface is orthogonally intersected with the incident direction. CONSTITUTION: When R light is made incident on the pixel electrode ER, the R light is reflected by the reflection surface of a reflection surface component 42R. The reflection surface of the component 42R is decided in the slope angle so that the incident R light is made incident on the reflection surface orthogonally intersectedly, that is, the main beam of light of the R light converged on the pixel electrode ER by a microlens RI is orthogonally intersected with the reflection surface. The slope angles of the reflection surfaces of the reflection surface components 42G, 42B in the pixel electrodes EG, EB are decided also so as to orthogonally intersect with the incident directions of the incident G, B light similarly. Thus, since the light reflected by the reflection surfaces of respective pixel electrodes reverse move on incident optical paths, since the light incident on e.g. the pixel electrode ER is reflected, and is made incident on the microlens RI, no problem that (no microlens functions for a lens function) exists, and the excellent color image is projected.
