FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines operating at below zero temperatures. SUBSTANCE: liquid fuel heating device uses for its operation effect of air throttling in vortex tube which provides division of air into hot and cold portions. Portion of air whose temperature is higher than ambient air temperature is used for heating liquid fuel. Device has the following members connected in tandem by means of pipes; check valve 1 accommodating spring 2; receiver 3, air supply electric cock 4, vortex tube 5 with air flow temperature division chamber 6, and housing 7 divided into heating chamber 8 and fuel chamber 9, the latter being placed inside fuel line 10. Device has also fuel temperature control unit with temperature sensor 11, battery switch and supply source 13. Device operates as follows: air from receiver gets into vortex tube in which portion of air is heated at the cost of overcooling of other air portion owing to tangential throttling. Warm air is used for heating liquid fuel. EFFECT: improved fuel heating. |
