FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device provides possibility to remove additional absorbers from core and to increase fuel content in it, to increase level of fuel burn-up, to decrease cost of fuel supply, storage, reload and burying, to decrease maximal linear load on heat elements, and to decrease non-uniformity of heat emission in height and radius of reactor. This is achieved by filling heat assembly of channel nuclear reactor with fuel of uranium oxide and erbium, which concentration is in range of 0.3-0.8 %. EFFECT: decreased fuel costs, decreased operating costs, increased safety and increased running life. |
