<p>Azoic carboxylic acid anhydrides of general formula (A-Ia) and amine compounds of general formula (B-Ia): [wherein L is hydrogen or the like; X2 is N or CR3 (R3 being hydrogen or the like); and n is an integer of 2 to 20]; and a polyimide resin containing at least one of the acid anhydrides and amine compounds and is useful as a rubbingless liquid-crystal alignment film.</p>
