PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an antistatic film which gives high antistatic properties even with a relatively thin coating layer, is excellent in adhesion and resistance to transcription to the back surface and is useful as a magnetic card by using an antistatic agent of a specific chemical structure. SOLUTION: (A) Polyester film is coated, at least on its one surface, with an aqueous coating liquid containing 3-100 mole % of (B) an antistatic polymer containing structural units of the formula [R<1> -R<3> are each H, methyl; R<4> is a 2-10C alkylene; R<5> -R<7> are each H, a 1-5C alkyl; X is a halogen element, R<8> OSO3 , R<8> SO3 , NO3 , P(=o)o(MO)2 (R<8> is a 1-10C alkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl, a cycloalkyl; M is an alkali metal], dried and drawn to give the objective antistatic coating layer. Component A is a white polyester film and the thickness of the coating layer is preferably 0.01-1μm. |
