<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for menu generation display capable of freely generating menu constitution fitted in the kind of a user by the user. SOLUTION: Plural users using the device are divided into plural kinds, and each kind (user level) and a password in accordance with the kind are stored variably in a user level storage part 54A, and also, plural basic functions are stored in a basic function storage part 54B. The basic function corresponding to each user level is selected, respectively, and it is related hierarchically, and such correspondence relation is stored in a set data storage part 54C as set data. Moreover, plural user levels are read out, and a first menu is generated based on the user level by a first menu generating part 51B1, and also, the basic function in accordance with the user level is read out based on the set data at every user, and a second menu is generated by a second menu generating part 54B2 by such basic function.</p> |
