<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat assisted pressure fixing method which eliminates trouble, such as partial drop-out and peel of fixed images at a fixing temp. of <=100 deg.C at which the effect of lowering electric power consumption is particularly increased and under a fixing pressure of a line pressure within the range from 0.2×10<3> to 0.5×10<3> N/m. SOLUTION: Press and heat fixing is executed under a fixing pressure of a range from 0.2×10<3> to 0.5×10<3> N/m in the method of forming the images by the heat assisted pressure fixing method of electrophotographic recording by using the capsule toners composed of core materials contg. a thermoplastic resin of Tg of <=20 deg.C and coloring agents and shell materials for coating these core materials as a developer and using two pieces of fixing rolls 1, 2 which have elastic material rubber layers having a thickness of 0.1 to 0.5mm on the roll surfaces and contg. heating sources 3 in at least one of the rolls.</p> |
