A lacker film coating method is described that can allow the lacker film to have a constant width on a CRT pannel, and stopping the rotation of the CRT pannel within a short time after the coating to prevent the covered lacker film from being lumped upon one side of the CRT pannel. At the step 3, CRT pannel is spinned by a constant number of rotation so that CRT pannel is evenly coated with the injected water. At the step 4, the lacker film is injected to impartially cover the CRT pannel. At the step 5, the rotation of the CRT pannel is accurately stopped within the short time so that the coated lacker film is not lumped thereupon. Thereby, it is possible to form the lacker film with a constant width, and reduce the ratio of an inferior CRT due to the lumped lacker film.
