PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the fault of a generator simply at a low cost. SOLUTION: The output currents of a generator are detected with current transformers 4r, 4s and 4t provided on output bus bars 5r, 5s and 5t of a generator 1, and overcurrent relays 9r and 9t are operated. At the same time, the output voltages of the generator 1 are detected with a potential transformer 7. Reactive power relays receive the output voltages and the operating signals of the overcurrent relays 9r and 9t, and the fault of the generator is detected. |
