<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent feeding failure and the occurrence of skewing by forming at least the sheet outlet side of the surface of a checking member that is opposite to a feeding means along the outline of the feeding means, and chamfering or rounding the ridge line part of the side end of the checking member that is opposite to the feeding means. SOLUTION: Preferably the surface of a pat 4 that is opposite to a roller 103 is formed in such a manner that the sheet material inlet side, that is, the upstream from the nip forming part with the roller is a flat surface and the downstream is formed along the outline of the roller. The corner part on the feed roller 103 side of both side end parts of the pat 4, that is, the ridgeline part opposite to the feed roller 103 is chamfered M1. Accordingly, a sheet material fed by the pat 4 and the roller 103 is kept from being caught by the corner part to prevent feeding failure and the occurrence of skewing, and also uneven abrasion of the checking member can be prevented so as to reduce maintenance load.</p> |
