<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input lines of a character or the like by switching the width of the lines in the case of inputting a character or the like by the use of an input pen such as a digitizer. SOLUTION: When pen pressure is applied to a pen shaft 1, a coil spring 5 is contracted, a lens 3 is retracted, a distance L' between the lens 3 and a photo-amplifier 4 is shortened, and the quantity of input light (flight from a display screen 7) to the photo-amplifier 4 is increased, so that the level of an output signal is increased. The signal is detected, noise is removed from the signal through an LPF, the noise-removed signal is converted into a digital signal, and the signal is impressed to a data processing part, which processes the locus signal of a pen 1 from a tablet 6 to required thickness. Or the pen shaft 1 is provided with a switch to be switched by the use of a finger tip or the like and a pen locus signal is processed based upon a signal from the switch.</p> |
