<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-football type input device which can keep its function despite the failures of balls and also can always secure the smooth input operations. SOLUTION: This input device consists of the keys 1 and 2 which are operated by an operator, plural balls B1 to Bn (n=48) which can be freely revolved by the feet of the operator, and a signal arithmetic transmission part 3 which adds together and outputs the movement amount signals that are outputted from the pointing devices corresponding to the balls B1 to Bn . These balls are supported at three fulcrums P1, P2 and P3. Then the X and Y axis direction movement amount detection parts MX and MY are prepared between the fulcrums P1 and P2 and also the fulcrums P2 and P3 respectively to output the X and Y direction movement amount signals as some of those movement amount signals of the corresponding balls respectively.</p> |
