PURPOSE:To obtain artificial leather for body skin of SHAMISEN, giving excel lent sounds comparable wityh those of SHAMISEN using conventional animal skin, comprising woven fabric as a material. CONSTITUTION:Woven fabric 1' made from animal fibers such as silk yarn, Tussah noil yarn or natural silk yarn from silkworm gut is sufficiently immersed in vegetable or mineral fats and oils and naturally dried to give woven fabric 1''. This woven fabric is impregnated with a colloidal substance 4 such as gelatin, keratin or cystine, naturally dried and made into a tanned skin. |
