PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the occurrence of the distortions of images or the peeling of tacky adhesives or adhesives in a liquid crystal display device in spite of a change in temp. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display device is constituted by integrating a liquid crystal display element provided with a liquid crystal layer 10 between a pair of resin substrates 8 and 12 having transparent electrode layers 9, 11 and a polarizing plate provided with polarizing films 3, 17 between a pair of resin protective films 2, 4 and 16, 18 by tacky adhesive layers 5, 7, 13, 15 or adhesive layers. Resins which have a difference in the coefft. of linear expansion of <0.5×10<-5> / deg.C and have substantially the same coefft. of linear expansion are used as the resins constituting the tacky adhesive layers 5, 7, 13, 15 or the substrates 8, 12 and protective films 2, 4, 16, 18 stuck or adhered by the adhesive layers. |
