<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer which is capable of arbitrarily selecting the pull-up resistance of an input terminal and reducing leak current or the through current of an input buffer. SOLUTION: This microcomputer is provided with a transistor 11 for pull-up for which an on/off control is performed by software control corresponding to an output terminal 16 as the important part of the output circuit connected with the output terminal 16 of the microcomputer, a control register 12 holding the initial state of the transistor 11 for pull-up, an initial value register 13 holding the initialization value for preliminarily performing the on/off control of the transistor 11 for pull-up, an output driver 14 driving and outputting the output information on the microcomputer to the outside and a resistance 15. According to the connection condition with the outside of the microcomputer, the pull-up resistance corresponding to the output terminal 16 is arbitrarily selected and controlled by a set value set to the initial value register 13 by a user.</p> |
