摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the highest possible coating efficiency and to attain a good arranging property of metallic flakes, etc., by alternately crossing the air ejection directions of plural air ejection parts, thereby enabling the approach at an effective impingement velocity to lessen the bouncing back from a coating surface. SOLUTION: A metallic coating material P is subjected to primary shearing, secondary shearing and ternary shearing in correspondence to the number of stages of atomizing air ejection holes 13..., 14..., 15... constituted in plural stages by the atomizing air (a), (b), (c) ejected from these holes. Pattern correction is executed as well in compliance with each of the respective stages thereof. In addition, the high-velocity air (a), (b), (c) are crossed in the circumferential direction of a bell 6 and are brought into impingement against the metallic coating material P while a turbulent flow state is formed. As a result, the coating material particles are successively and effectively pulverized and the particle distribution state over the entire pat of the coating region is made uniform. The compatibility of the effect of improving the coating finishing state with the effect of improving the coating efficiency is thus attained.</p>
