<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an IC card device match with a file system by enabling management while making read and write units (storage unit) of data in a flash ROM incorporated in an IC card smaller than erasure units of the flash ROM. SOLUTION: The IC card 200 which can have data written and read at a request of a host device while loaded into the host device, is provided. In the flash ROM 204, plural data areas and management areas corresponding to the data area are formed. The IC card 200 receives a write instruction accompanied by a sector number indicating the write destination of data from the host device, and writes the data in one of the data area and writes the sector number in the corresponding management area. Further, a read instruction accompanied by a sector number indicating the read source of data is received from the host device and the data stored in the data area corresponding to the management area having the sector number are read out.</p> |
