PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient packet copy by performing header transformation while referring to a header transformation table for the packet repeatedly read from a packet buffer according to the number of copies. SOLUTION: Corresponding to a signaling packet at the time of call setting, a copy extracting part 7 extracts the number of copies and sets it to a copy number managing table 6. The input packet is temporarily stored through the extracting part 7 into a packet buffer 4 of a buffer part 1. At such a time, based on input packet header information, the number of copies corresponding to the input packet is read from the table 6 and transferred to the buffer part 1 and corresponding to the transferred number of copies, a read control part 5 repeatedly reads the packet from the buffer 4 and transfers it to a header transforming part 3. While referring to a header transformation table 2, the transforming part 3 performs header transformation and sends the packet in the same azimuth. The stored information in the table 2 is set by multicast information similarly to the copy number extraction and updating for invalidizing the set information is similarly executed as well.
|
