<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operating efficiency by securing safety and accuracy with the use of a luminescent instrument in the handling of an earpick or in the work to select precious stone pieces and at the same time, making it possible to attach a magnifying lens. SOLUTION: This luminescent instrument 2 consists of a light transmitting medium 5 formed of a light transmissive material projecting in the longitudinal direction of the medium 5 from the tip of a gripping handle 4 and emits a light originating from a light source incorporated in the gripping handle 4 through the tip of the light transmitting medium 5. The light transmitting medium 5 has a light transmission part 53 formed on the tip, attached, in freely detechable manner, to a light focusing block 51 of the light transmissive material with the rear face formed as a light incident face and the front face as a light emitting face. In addition, a magnifying lens 9 for enlarging the image of the tip region of the light transmitting medium 5 is attached, in freely detachable fashion, to the gripping handle 4 through an attachment/detachment member 7. Further, this member 7 is equipped with a guide mechanism for sliding the magnifying lens 9 in the longitudinal direction of the gripping handle 4.</p> |
