<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a work table or an instrument holder by lightening (smoothing) the movement of the work table or the instrument holder only at the time of movement relating to the movement of the work table or the instrument holder in a dental treatment unit. SOLUTION: A joint (connection member) 20 connects the work table 2 and a supporting arm for supporting the work table 2 movably to an optional desired part. The work table 2 is provided with a sensor on a handle part or the part near it, and when the sensor reacts, compressed air is made to flow to an air pipe 30, a piston 27 is pushed up against a spring 25, the engagement of a brake shoe 28 and the rotary shaft 23 of the work table 2 is released and the movement of the work table 2 is lightened.
