FIELD: supply of electric power for objects placed in near-earth orbit whose power plants are radiated by Sun and convert its radiation into DC energy on basis of photoeffect. SUBSTANCE: power station is used to supply power to objects placed in near-earth orbit obtained through conversion of solar radiation into DC current due to photoeffect; station consists of several cells combined in common power source; it is erected from large-size cylindrical collapsible units-envelopes made from strong flexible material with linear stiffeners secured inside them; thin-film solar-cell batteries are secured on the outside, remaining atmospheric air being contained inside.
