<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a good reception generating no hanging paper from an end of tray by providing a space saving type tray which has a portion extending in almost the horizontal direction with a certain length to a connection part with an upward inclined portion of the tray from a paper take-in opening, and bending the received paper in the lengthwise direction by the connection part. SOLUTION: A tray comprises a paper receiving portions L1, L2, L3 where the portion L2 is bent upward at about 35 degrees with respect to a horizontal plane including the portion L1, and the portion L3 is at about 45 degrees. The ratio of each length of the portions L1, L2, L3 to the length of the whole tray is about 29%, 38%, 33%. A connection part 30 between the portions L1 and L2 is formed of a curved surface so that bending of paper sheet PS in the part 30 becomes effective. The paper sheets PS supplied to the tray are bent in the lengthwise direction and the apparent length thereof from its outer upper end to its position of abutting against a back stopper H is made short because of the length of the portion L1 of the tray, and thus the bending strength in the outer upper end of the paper sheet PS is increased. A wing part W1 is provided at the tray for enhancing the bending strength of paper sheet PS.</p> |
