FIELD: production of radionuclides for medicine and technology. SUBSTANCE: generator has sorbent and radioisotope holding column installed inside radiation shield and generator housing, flange with seats placed above radiation shield, elutriate, eluate, and air bactericidal filter needles connected through flexible hoses to column, air bactericidal filter, elutriate tank, and selector switch. The latter is, essentially, four-way cock with control valve and is placed in seat of flange with needles for elutriate and air bactericidal filter and connected through flexible hoses to filter, cover, and bottom of elutriate tank and to column entrance. Selector switch control valve has three locked positions relative to cock body; neutral; elutriate tank-to-column; air bactericidal filter-to-column. Elutriate tank is annular space, such as torus, or double-walled cylinder placed around radiation shield. EFFECT: improved efficiency of radioisotope removal from sorbent during elution process. 2 cl, 3 dwg |
