PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transfer a crushed material discharged from a hydrolyzing apparatus, housed in a hopper and already subjected to hydrolysis treatment. SOLUTION: This transfer apparatus has a container 1 comprising a housing part for housing a liquid 9 having a specific gravity larger than that of a crushed material 9b and the crushed material 9b mixed into the liquid 9, an agitator 3 for agitating the liquid 9 and the crushed material 9b in the housing part 2, an opening part 4 for transferring the liquid 9 and the crushed material 9b toward a dehydrator 8. Thereby, the crushed material 9b fed from a hydrolyzing apparatus 7 and subjected to hydrolysis treatment while leaving a tacky component on its surface from which a hydrolyzed coating film is released and on which the tacky component is exposed is floated on the liquid 9 and agitated and the surface of the crushed material 9b is wetted with the liquid 9 to lower the tacky force and automatically transferred to the dehydrator 8.
