PHASE DIFFERENCE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE USING PSEUDO NOISE SIGNAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust automatically a phase between an audio signal and a video signal. SOLUTION: A PN series generating circuit 1 for a video signal and a PN sequence generating circuit 2 for an audio signal respectively generate a PN sequence (pseudo noise) signal in 2047-bit. A 1-bit of the PN sequence (pseudo noise) signal is added respectively to a prescribed bit of the video signal and the audio signal. After the video signal is decoded and expanded, the correlation and the correlation pulse of the video signal and the audio signal are detected and the phase difference is detected to adjust the phase difference of the audio signal with respect to the video signal.
