<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the system to decide a cell transmission time quickly. SOLUTION: In this system, a cell to be sent is stored in a memory 1 and the cell stored in an input address in response to an address input. Then A content of an address corresponding to a current time is read from the memory 4 through cross reference between an address in the memory 4 and a time and a cell storage address in which a cell to be sent from the memory 1 is written in the memory 4 in the case of cell transmission reservation from the memory 1. In the case of cell transmission reservation, the retrieval of an idle address of the memory 4 is started from the address corresponding to an ideal cell transmission time being an ideal time of cell transmission and the cell storage address is written in the retrieved idle address. Since the retrieval is started from the address corresponding to the ideal cell transmission time without retrieving idle address among all addresses, the cell transmission time is quickly reserved.</p> |
