The locking closure is for a door (2) pivoted laterally (2) on a leaf of the door. The closure has a barrel lock (5) rotatable mounted on the door. An eccentric cam (11) is mounted on the lock rotor to actuate a plate (14) in guides. The guides comprise a shaped slide (20) formed by folding on the side of the door forming the pivotal axis. The external face of the plate also has a U-section in a plane perpendicular to the pivot axis.
