<p>An ejector device that can effectively entrain a gas, such as air or oxygen, into a liquid is described. The ejector comprises a liquid nozzle having a functionally elongate outlet bounded on each side by a gas nozzle also having a functionally elongate nozzle outlet. The nozzles are positioned, in use, such that gas will be entrained between the liquid stream exiting from the liquid nozzle outlet and a body of liquid in the container. A method for entraining a gas, such as air, at good volume capacity into a container, such as a yeast fermentation vessel, is also described.</p> |
