<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a sufficient amount of cleaning water to be uniformly sprayed over a deodorizing carrier by arranging a dispersion plate with numerous water holes above the deodorizing carrier, and supplying the cleaning water from above the dispersion plate. SOLUTION: The interior of a box-type deodorizing tower 1 is divided into sections A-D, then each of partition walls 2 is installed at an appropriate interval from a top plate part to a bottom plate part, and a clearance for ventilation and water circulation is provided above and below each of the partition walls 2. Each section A-D is filled with a deodorizing carrier 3 bearing a microbe for decomposing a component intended for deodorizing. In addition, gas introducing piping 4 is connected to the lower part of a layer filled with the deodorizing carrier 3, while gas guide-out piping 5 is connected to the upper part of the layer. A water spray means consists of cleaning water supply piping 7 for supplying the cleaning water to a dispersion plate 6 and an area above the dispersion plate. Thus it is possible to clean the deodorizing carrier 3 with a sufficient amount of cleaning water in a short time.</p> |
