<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a near-infrared-absorbing compd. improved in solubility and light resistance by partially or wholly slufonamidating and/or amidating and/or imidizing amino groups on substituents of phthalocyanine. SOLUTION: This highly durable near-infrared-absorbing compd. is represented by the formula (wherein X is H, a halogen, hydroxyl, a 1-20C alkoxy, alkylthio or alkylamino, a 6-20C aryloxy, arylothio, or arylamino, or a 7-20C alkylarylamino; R<1> to R<8> are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, or alkoxy, a 6-20C aryl or aryloxy; Y<1> to Y<3> are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, or arylsulfonyl, a 2-20C alkylcarbonyl, or a 7-20C arylcarbonyl; (n) is 0-14; (l) is 1-8; (m) is 0-14 provided n+2l+m=16; and M is a divalent metal atom, a tri or tetravalent susbtd. metal, or an oxymetal group).</p> |
