PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the analysis time by inserting a sampler with a flat face into a slug layer to make slug adhere to the flat face, pulling up the sample from the slug layer to strip the solidified slug, and irradiating the face on the opposite side to the contact side with the sampler with X-rays, with the slug adhering to the flat face as an assay sample. SOLUTION: When a sampler is inserted in a fused slug layer, fused slug adheres to the surface of the sampler, and when the sampler is pulled up after a few seconds, the fused slug adheres to the flat face 1 and is solidified. This is used as an assay sample. A face on the opposite side to the contact face with the sampler is made an analysis face, and irradiated with X-rays. The width of the flat face 1 is made about 20mm so as to obtain a flat sample with the area of 10mmϕ or more. The sampler is of a rectangular solid shape with a thickness and desirably with heat conductivity. |
