<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a connector or connection part from breaking by being composed of the device of a frame and a slot which stores it, and making the frame support a PC card and absorb the physical load. SOLUTION: The PC card slot device 1 is composed of the frame 12 where the PC card 2 is mounted and the main body slot 10 which stores the frame 12. The frame 12 can be drawn out of the main body slot 10 and put back like a drawer, but it can not be detached completely from the main body slot 10. Further, the main body slot 10 and frame 12 are connected by a line cable 14 to secure an electric connection between the main body slot 10 and frame 12. Therefore, when the physical load is placed on the PC card 2, the frame 12 supports the PC card 2 and absorbs its physical load, so no direct load is placed on the connector between the PC card 2 and a PC.</p> |
