<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a float switch to be fixed easily and safely. SOLUTION: An air conditioner is comprised of a float switch 28 which is composed of a main body 52 having a contact point arranged thereto, a flange part 54 formed to be spaced apart from a lower end of the main body 52, a float 56 freely inserted between the lower end of the main body 52 and the flange 54 so as to drive the contact point and a threaded part 57 formed at the upper part of the flange 54. A water level in a drain pan 27 arranged below a heat exchanger is detected by this float switch 28. There is provided a fixing member 51 for use in fixing the float switch 28 to the drain pan 27. This fixing member 51 is comprised of a storing part 61 having an opening at one end to cause the flange 54 to be inserted, and a fitting part released in the same direction as that of the storing part 61 above the storing part 61 and having the threaded part 57 to be fitted thereto.</p> |
