<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the level of vibration transmitted to a low part as the result of vibration exciting force during drive of a pump device by covering a pump main body by means of an enclosure and connecting mass elements in series to the pump main body or the low part of the enclosure via spring elements. SOLUTION: A pump device for water supply mounted on a foundation 10 is consisting of a pump main body 1, an enclosure 3 and added mass bodies 8 and the enclosure 3 is composed of a bottom plate 4 on which the pump main body 1 is mounted and a box type cover 9 for covering those components. Thereby, the legs 2 of the pump main body 1 are fixed onto the bottom plate 4, coil springs 6 are hung downward below the bottom plate 4 just beneath their legs 2 so that mass elements 7 may be hung down at the lower end parts of the coil springs 6. Each mass element 7 is formed in such a manner as allowing a metal block to be stuck to a plane so that the total mass of the mass elements 7 may be varied by using necessary pieces of metal block. In this way, a solid propagation sound level emitted in form of a sound from each part of the pump device is lowered.</p> |
