The regulator has a metallic body (10) through which passes a first conduit (12,14) controlled by an adjustable bearing (16) and a second conduit (58,60) in which is located a thermostatic sensor (56) which drives the bearing. The sensor is maintained in the second conduit by a cap (78) lodged in a cut-out (22) in the body. The cap is screwed into the cut-out by means of screw-threads (80,82).
