PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow judgement whether the release lever of a safety device is set in the release position at a glance even in the condition that cover is attached. SOLUTION: A seat belt takeup device 1 is fastened to the accommodation part 5a of a body frame 5 using bolts 12, and the release lever 4 of a safety device 2, which has been set in the engage position so that a mechanical igniting device 3 is not actuated (see illustration) is pushed in and turned 90deg. counterclockwise to take the release position, and a garnish 13 is installed so as to enclose the seat belt takeup device 1. The garnish 13 is equipped with a through hole 13a in the position mating with the engage position of the release lever 4, and a clip 14 inserted for blocking the hole 13a is given such a length as contacting with the lever 4 and not capable of being set in as long as the lever 4 is in the engage position. |
