PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a genuine article from a counterfeit with a photoactive molecule layer and a dichroism molecule layer and also a polarizer part to which information is written and a part to which information to be recognized by a natural light is written by emitting a polarized light to these articles. SOLUTION: A photoactive molecule layer with a molecular axis arranged in one specified direction is caused to only absorb a dichroism molecule. That is, a solid dicroism molecule layer is only provided on the photoactive molecule layer. Consequently, the molecular axis to the dichroism molecule is arranged in a direction in which the molecular axis of the photoactive molecule is arranged, that is, in a direction specified by the polarized light axis of a linearly polarized light emitted to the photoactive molecule layer, and the polarized light axis is fixed to display the nature of a polarizer. A light beam which is output from a light source 33 comes a polarized light by allowing the light beam to pass through a polarizing plate 34. The 31a having the polarized axis which is orthogonal with the polarized light axis of the polarized light becomes dark, while the 31b having the polarized axis which is parallel with the polarized axis remains uncharged. Therefore, an image 31 appears as if it were arising, and can be visually confirmed. |
