PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat cover for a vehicle with a parting seam possible to reseal by separating the parting seam possible to reseal when an air bag is swelled and swelling the air bag outside the seat for the vehicle to protect a crew against shock due to lateral impulse. SOLUTION: A module housing 26 for a favorable air bag module 24 to store a lateral impulse air bag 22 is fixed to a seat frame 16 with a screw-type fastener and mounted to a seat 10. In the module housing 26, a holder 30 to hold the air bag 22 is trapped between the air bag 22 and an inflater 28 to be engaged with a pair of flaps on the air bag 22 and an expansive cover 32 is provided for the housing 26 to easily preliminarily assemble the whole module 24. The seat cover 18 is provided with a parting seam 38 possible to reseal, which is designed to open in response to a collision signal from a sensor when the air bag 22 is swelled.
