<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the fluctuations in an electrostatic charge quantity by environment in image formation to develop a developer layer in the contactless state with a photoreceptor by using >=2 kinds of particulates varying in the polarities ofζpotential as the particulates to be added and mixed to and with colored particles. SOLUTION: At least two kinds of the external additive particles of toners which are of reverse polarities in theζpotential in the environment difference of the electrostatic charge quantity are used for the two-component developers. Namely, the particulates of the two-component developers consisting of at least resins and coloring agents are >=2 kinds of the particulates varying in the polarities of theζpotential. Either of inorg. particulates and org. particulates may be used as the materials constituting these partivculates. Various kinds of inorg. oxides, nitrides, borideds, etc., are adequately used as the inorg. particulates. The org. particulates include a vinyl resin such as styrene resin, acrylic resin, fluororesin, such as vinylidene fluoride, condensed resin of melamine and formaldehyde, etc.</p> |
