<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently preparing toner for developing an electrostatic image which has a weight average particle size not exceeding 10μm, or 7μm, and sharp particle size distribution. SOLUTION: A powder material is introduced into the first classification process equipped with a rotary air classifying means having a horizontal rotor and classified into fine powder and coarse powder. The fine powder is introduced into the second classification process to obtain a classified product for manufacturing toner. The coarse powder classified in the first classification process is introduced into a specified mechanical grinding means to be pulverized, the pulverized particles are mixed with the powder material, and the mixture is introduced again into the first classification process to be circulated.</p> |
