PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute the copies of distribution jobs among plural virtual services in an optimum way in a document processing system. SOLUTION: This document processing system includes a document manager which controls the storage or processing of job copies of the 1st and 2nd virtual services, and a distribution agent which receives the 1st and 2nd job thickets of distribution jobs in a single package and sends the copy the 1st ticket to the document manager which sends the 1st copy of an image data set together with the received copy of the 1st job ticket to the 1st virtual service and then sends the copy of the 2nd job ticket to the document manager which sends the 1st copy of the image data set and the received copy of the 2nd job ticket to the 2nd virtual service respectively.
